Our Community
"Whoever welcomes you welcomes me,
and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me."
(Matthew 10 v. 40)
The whole community should be able to know God's welcome in and through the church community. Therefore, at Holy Trinity, Bramley, we all - clergy and church members - try to be a part of the wider community, and to contribute to our community in various ways.
We do this, for example, by
- Supporting Bramley C of E (VA) Infant and Nursery School
- Welcoming boarders from St Catherine's school to our 9.45am service
- Hosting Trinity Toddlers
- Hosting Bramley Music concerts
Providing a monthly communion service for members of the The Villages Wednesday Club
Bramley is a vibrant community with many societies and clubs including the Village Society
which is involved in events such as the Bramley Showcase evening in
March, the Village Fete in May, the Ploughman's Lunch in September held
in a local garden and a spectacular firework display and bonfire in
November.
There are many clubs and organisations in Bramley which welcome new members - please go to

We also support activities in the community beyond Bramley. For example, every Christmas, parishioners support Guildford Besom:
Guildford Besom Christmas
Hampers
The charity Besom in Guildford has had close links with Holy Trinity and Bramley for many years. They seek to support the most vulnerable in our community, responding to requests for help from, among others: Homeless Hostels, Children's Centres, Christians Against Poverty, Home School Link Workers, Social Services (Adults and Children), Guildford Action Day Centre & Family Workers, Guildford Borough Council, Waverley Borough Council, Domestic Abuse Outreach Service. Each year, they collect and deliver Christmas Hampers to those in great need. .
