An invitation from Bishop Paul:
Invitation to all parishes in Cranleigh Deanery to a gathering on Mon 29 June 7.30pm-9pm
I write to extend an invitation to you. As you know, I have set three key priorities for the coming two years: prayer, pastoral care and a sharper focus on our 'priority of priorities', namely deepening discipleship (including revitalisation) and investing wholeheartedly in children and young people.
As part of this, I am holding special gatherings in each of our 12 deaneries to enable me to meet, pray and worship with our clergy and congregations. I would be delighted if you would join me at the Cranleigh Deanery Gathering which will be held at St Nicolas Cranleigh on Monday 29 June from 7.30pm to 9pm, with tea and coffee served from 7pm and could also circulate this invitation to your PCC and wider congregation. Everyone will be welcome.
Although the past months have held deep sadness, my heart has also been lifted by the remarkable signs of God’s grace I have witnessed across the diocese. Our time together will include thanksgiving, a celebration of what God is doing in each parish in Cranleigh Deanery, prayer for the specific needs of your ministry and parish, worship and a few reflections from me on what I sense God may be saying to us in this season.
Every blessing,
+Paul

The commitment is just a little time before and after the 9.30am service, no more than once a month and is the perfect way to start being more involved in church life. Interested? DATES FOR THE DIARY
Annual Parochial Church Meeting, Sunday 3rd May after the 9:30 service.
This is an important meeting for us all to comment on our church life as well as to elect churchwardens, PCC members and hear the formal reports on the church’s activities for the previous year. Please make this a priority to attend and contribute your views on church life and governance.
Sue Oldrey is standing down as churchwarden after six years of loyal service, so we need to elect a new churchwarden - please consider prayerfully whether this is something that you might be called to and speak to William, Sue or Catherine for further details. Richard Gates would also like to retire after many years of dedicated service as our Treasurer, and we are looking for a suitable successor. He/she does not necessarily need to be a regular member of our congregation and, although some financial knowledge would be desirable, no formal accountancy qualification is needed. Do you know someone with the right skills?
As required by law, the Examined and PCC approved and signed 2025 Record & Accounts have been placed in the church porch for perusal before the APCM. If you would like to see a digital copy, please email office@holytrinitybramley.org.uk.
