At present there are two patrols (two groups) of girls aged between 10 and 13 years old in Wonersh and Bramley Guides.  Guides can stay until they are 14 or 15 years before they move on to the Ranger section or become Young Leaders.

Scoutabout 2022 logoLast term, many of the Guides attended Scoutabout when over 6000 young people and adults from all over Surrey converged on  the South of England Showground in Ardingly for a weekend of fun and activities.  The days were filled with activities including the ever popular cave maze, water activities, parascending, abseiling, zip wires as well as lots of smaller activities and crafts.  Scouts and Guides could try their hand at over 100 activities across the site and even off site for water-based activities.  (You can watch a video of Scoutabout 2022 here.)

Since Scoutabout, the Guides have been out on Wonersh Common trying out signalling in semaphore, playing a wide game in the dark and lighting fires in preparation for cooking on wood fires. A following week they cooked pizzas on wood fires.  They have also learned some new knots and are planning to work towards interest badges and skills builder badges. They also learned some First Aid

We have room for more girls and are happy to meet girls who would like to find out more.
