Weddings
If you would like to discuss getting married at Holy Trinity please contact the parish office at office@holytrinitybramley.org.uk or the Vicar, William Davie, at william.davie18@btinternet.com. Alternatively, you can speak to someone after a 9:30 service on a Sunday. Then we can advise on what steps need to be taken.
In order to be able to get married at Holy Trinity you have to be able to show a connection to the parish. Examples of these include you or a member of your family living in Bramley for longer than six months, or a member of your family being married at Holy Trinity. The Vicar can talk through with you what connections are acceptable.
However, if you do not have a connection with the church that does not mean you cannot get married there. In order to do so you would need to attend regular worship at Holy Trinity for a period of at least six months prior to your wedding date. This is why it's usually a good idea to talk to the church before you book your reception venue.
If you have been married before and your previous spouse is still living, it is still possible to get married at Holy Trinity. This can be talked through with the Vicar at the initial meeting. This is also when we can advise on the legal steps you need to take - for example, the publishing of the banns.
Prior to your wedding you will also need to attend a session of wedding preparation.
